Planned Giving
A gift in your will or trust is one of the easiest ways to create a legacy with us. You will be providing education that empowers each child to step into a promising future. Please contact the Community Foundation for Brevard for assistance with any planned giving. Let us know if you’ve included us in your will or trust so we can say thank you for your generous gift.
The easiest way to leverage your donation is if your company has a gift matching program. Be sure to check with your company’s Human Resources (HR) Department to see if a Gift Matching Program is available. If your Employer offers one, ask HR for the correct procedure to process the donation match. This could be an easy way to double your gift.
You may be looking for a way to make a significant gift to help further our mission. A bequest is a gift made through your will or trust. It is one of the most popular and flexible ways that you can support our cause.
Donating part or all of your unused retirement assets, such as your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension or other tax-deferred plan, is an excellent way to make a gift to Space Coast Discovery.
A donor advised fund (DAF) might be a great solution for you. You can use a DAF to distribute gifts to numerous charities. With a DAF, you can make gifts to charity during your lifetime, and when you pass away, your heirs can grant all or a portion of the remaining balance to Space Coast Discovery to fulfill your philanthropic legacy.
